  • Charges a finder’s fee of 10%, consistent with California regulations (Cal. Civ. Proc. Code § 1582)

You owe nothing unless your claim is successfully recovered.

3. Our Services

Our services include:

  • Researching and verifying unclaimed property

  • Preparing claim documents

  • Assisting with identification requirements

  • Submitting your claim to the State of California

  • Tracking updates and responding to state requests

We do not provide:

  • Legal advice

  • Financial advice

  • Tax advice

We simply assist with the claims process.

4. Client Responsibilities

To use our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information

  • Sign necessary claim forms

  • Provide identification documents when requested

  • Notify us of any changes to your contact information

Failure to provide required documents may delay or prevent claim approval.

5. Payment Terms

You agree that:

  • Our fee is 10% of the total amount recovered

  • Payment is due after you receive your funds

  • Payment can be made by check, electronic payment, or other approved method

If the State reduces or denies the claim, no payment is owed.

6. Communication Consent

By submitting your information, you authorize Kollective88 LLC to:

  • Contact you by email, phone, or mail

  • Send documents and updates electronically

  • Communicate on your behalf with the State of California

7. Limitation of Liability

Kollective88 LLC is not liable for:

  • State processing times or delays

  • Claim denials due to inaccurate or incomplete information

  • Losses resulting from circumstances beyond our control

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount of the fee you paid us.

8. Termination

You may terminate our service agreement at any time before a claim is filed with the State.
After a claim is filed, termination may delay or affect your recovery process.

We reserve the right to decline service for any reason.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on Kollective88.com — including text, logos, and images — is the property of Kollective88 LLC and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Any dispute will be handled in Los Angeles County, CA.
